The Canarian fauna of Coleoptera here compiles a total of 2061 species and subspecies together. From this figure, 1958 relate only to species, 1 of which are divided in six subspecies, 7 in four, 11 in three and 48 in two. In this Catalogue 3 synonyms and 16 nomina nuda are established. It also includes 81 new records for specific islands, 16 of which are new for the whole Archipelago. Moreover, 108 taxa are excluded from the Canarian fauna, being 4 of them prsumed endemics.

Finally, it is needless to insist that the list of species and statistics here given must be considered as of provisional character.
