This book starts a new series of publications of great quality, focused on publishing several subjects, different from our Fauna and Atlas series.

The complete variability of all species and subspecies of the Iberodorcadion genus is represented through excellent full-colour drawings of complete habitus, pronota and elytrae.

This genus of Cerambycidae occurs in Morocco, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, with many endemic Iberian species. It is distinguished by the high chromatic polymorphism of taxa, according to their different populations and distributional areas. This fact makes difficult their identification as well as the delimitation among species.

The author's aim is to represent graphically all the whole variability of the genus, without discussing any taxonomical relationships.

It is introduced by Dr. P. Bahillo with a systematical catalogue up to subspecies and followed by a systematical treatment of all the species. The original description are given (literal transcription), with comments on the etymology and the geographical distribution. A completely updated bibliography of the genus is also included.
